Finances are a crucial part of life. Student loans, buying a car, paying rent, or budgeting for groceries can all seem overwhelming. Schools all over are implementing financial literacy courses in their basic requirements for graduation. We need to help our students learn the basics of financial responsibility, assist in forming good habits, and create a strong foundation and understanding of economic concepts in order to help them be financially stable members of society upon completion of high school. This understanding will help students to have a smooth transition into adulthood, helping them to become financially independent and responsible for personal finances. This course will help you to demonstrate how to incorporate real world concepts into what the students are learning in your classroom. One way to get students on board with learning is to mention money, bring the real world into it and you have them hooked.
